Ravebo solutions for the chemical industry
We configure abatement trains for each process: single or multi-stage wet scrubbers with the right chemistry, hydraulics and materials for predictable, compliant performance.
Multi-stage scrubbing
Acid, alkali and oxidation/reduction stages for complex gas mixes (e.g. NaOH, H₂SO₄, NaOCl, NaHSO₃).
Venturi & particulate control
High-energy venturi for dust/aerosols, followed by packed beds for gas absorption.
Materials & construction
PP, PE, PVC-C, FRP, PVDF/PTFE or special alloys (e.g. Hastelloy) for chemical and temperature resistance.
Monitoring & control
Inline pH/ORP/conductivity, flow & level control, redundancy and predictive maintenance options.
HCl/Cl₂ abatement at chlor-alkali plant
Process vents contained hydrochloric acid and chlorine. Ravebo delivered a two-stage system: alkaline absorption followed by polishing with reductant. The system integrates with existing controls and blowdown treatment.
