EPC Turnkey Contracting
Integrated EPC Turnkey Responsibility
Under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) turnkey contracting model, Ravebo assumes full responsibility for the design, supply, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and performance guarantee of a complete gas absorption scrubber system. When the EPC contractor is also the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), project execution is fully integrated under a single technical and commercial entity.
Process Engineering and Detailed Design
According to Ravebo, the EPC contractor performs all process engineering activities, including mass transfer calculations, absorber sizing, liquid-to-gas ratio integration, stress calculations, and material selection based on corrosion resistance, operating temperature, and chemical compatibility. Ravebo develops all basic and detailed engineering, including P&IDs, Functional Descriptions, Safety Data Sheets, Motor and Instrumentation Lists, 3D fabrication drawings, electrical drawings, PLC programming, and compliance with applicable international standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, and ISO.
Procurement and In-House Manufacturing
Procurement activities are executed directly by Ravebo and cover all critical components, including sheet material for production, scrubber internals (packing, trays, mist eliminators), recirculation pumps, chemical dosing systems, heat exchangers, blowers, instrumentation, electrical and control systems, and auxiliary equipment. As the core scrubber equipment and electrical cabinets are manufactured in-house, Ravebo ensures full quality control, traceability, and conformity throughout fabrication, including welding procedures, non-destructive testing, surface treatment, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
Construction and Site Installation
The construction scope includes site installation, mechanical erection, piping, electrical and instrumentation works, and integration with upstream and downstream process units. Ravebo manages construction supervision, safety compliance, and interface coordination to ensure alignment with the overall plant layout and operational requirements.
Commissioning and Performance Testing
Turnkey execution culminates in cold commissioning, hot commissioning, site acceptance testing (SAT), and performance testing. During these phases, the scrubber system is demonstrated to meet guaranteed parameters such as removal efficiency, outlet emission limits, pressure drop, utility consumption, and system availability.
Single-Point Accountability and Lifecycle Support
Ravebo provides single-point accountability for system performance, schedule adherence, and cost control, significantly reducing technical and contractual risk for the client. Upon project completion, Ravebo delivers as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, operator training, and long-term technical support, ensuring reliable and compliant operation of the gas absorption scrubber system throughout its design life.
